Corps I Team Leaders: Ron La Buff
Purpose of Ministry: To support and pray for
this community, the nation, and Christians throughout the world.
Prayer Seminars Team Leaders: Opening
Purpose of Ministry: To teach people about
prayer and encourage them to pray, invite people to join the prayer
corps, to increase prayer support for our church.
Prayer Chain Team Leader: Judy Regel
Purpose of Ministry: To provide prayer
support for individuals who need it in areas of illness, personal needs,
etc.

Operation Ministries
Custodian Team Leader: Paul Nelson
Purpose of Ministry: To keep the church
looking nice by taking out trash, vacuuming, cleaning and stocking
bathrooms.
Greeters Team Leader:
Clearance Deaton
Purpose of Ministry: To be friendly and
loving and to help show the love of the Lord to everyone we meet.
Kitchen Team Leader: Paul Kliefoth
Purpose of Ministry: Provides an opportunity
for fellowship and supports the various ministries and outreaches of the
church.
Community Hall and Chapel Decorations Team
Leader:Donna Bristol & Carol Stephens
Purpose of Ministry: To direct focus at the
Cross in Chapel, a thing of beauty to help with concentration and
prayer. To soften the look, to make the Chapel more comfortable and
homey.
Construction and Repairs Team Leaders: Paul Nelson, Joe Hanner & Wes Bristol
Purpose of Ministry: To do projects on
church buildings and church grounds. Construction and repairs, large and
small.
Nursery Team Leader: Donna Bristol
Purpose of Ministry: To provide to the
newest members of God's family a safe and enjoyable first impression of
Christ's love in our church through our nursery staff and also to enable
parents to feel at ease and enjoy the programs of the church .
Office Manager Team Leader: Carol stephens
Purpose of Ministry: To administrate office
procedures with organization and efficiency so that the pastors can
concentrate their time and efforts on the ministry of the church.

Celebration Ministries
Celebrations
To better serve the community and
our congregation, we offer two different styles of celebration:
Sunday 8:00 am
- Traditional Celebration in the Historic Chapel. This service is designed
for those who prefer a style from "The Good Ol' Days." To add to
this flavor, we sing traditional hymns, and fellowship around the Lord's
Table (Holy Communion), and hear the preaching of His Word.
Sunday School 9:15 am - 10:15 am
Sunday 10:30 am
- Community
Celebration in the Community Hall. These celebrations are designed for
those who prefer a mixture of traditional and contemporary styles of
worship. This includes the singing of contemporary choruses, traditional
hymns, and the preaching of God's Word.
Wednesday 5:30 pm
- Community
Friendship Dinner is held every Wednesday evening in the Community Hall.
For a minimal cost you can fellowship and meet new friends every week.
Bring your friends and neighbors.
Wednesday 6:30 pm
- Midweek
Fellowship in the Historic Chapel. There is traditional hymms, a relaxed
atmosphere, and sharing of the Word.

Purpose of Ministry: Fellowship, prayer and
praise.
Music Ministry Team Leader: Donna Bristol
Purpose of Ministry: To facilitate worship
during Sunday services, reinforce sermon theme, entertainment, and to
involve the congregation.
Audio/Video Team Leader: Linda
Green & Betty Hanner
Purpose of Ministry: To provide quality
audio/video support for all church functions.
Drama Department Team Leader: Donna Bristol
Purpose of Ministry: To supplement and
illustrate Sunday morning sermons, to provide content for "Skyway
to Heaven", to assist with other programs of Magalia Community
Church (Christmas, Easter, Dogtown Faire, fund raisers, etc.) as
appropriate.
Children
and Youth Ministries
Vacation Bible School Team Leader: Opening
Purpose of Ministry: To be an outreach
program to the children in the community. We want these children to know
that Magalia Community Church believes children are a gift from God and
we want them to experience Christ's love through our fun programs
designed especially for them.
Children's Department Team Leaders: Geoff & Linda Kliefoth
Purpose of Ministry: For every child to
experience firsthand the love of Jesus through their teachers, to learn
about God and the Christian life through God's Word and Biblical
principles and also to know that each and every child is a valuable and
important member of Magalia Community Church.
Breakaway (Youth) Team Leaders: Opening
Purpose of Ministry: To reach the youth in
our community, showing positive influences in the lives of our upcoming
generation and teaching them the grace of God.
Juniors 4 Jesus Team Leaders: Linda Kliefoth
Purpose of Ministry: To teach pre-youth
group children (grades 4-7) from the community and the church who God is
by showing them love and acceptance through games and activities.

Dogtown Faire Team Leader: Wanda Stowe
Purpose of Ministry: As a point of contact
with the Paradise/ Magalia community which provides a fun safe family
celebration for the Fourth of July.
Easter Pageant Team Leader: Donna Bristol
Purpose of Ministry: As one of Magalia
Community Church's four main points of contact, our goal is to present
the Gospel to our community; first to our cast and crew, many of who are
non-Christians, and then to our audience
Floats and Parades Team Leader: Mike Tomlinson
Purpose of Ministry: To create a favorable
image of Magalia Community Church by participation in local parades.

contact to bring the community to realize that God's love is all

Ministry (Skyway to Heaven) Team Leader: Wes Bristol
Purpose of Ministry: To be a point of
contact to Butte County through the avenue of home TV, aimed primarily
toward unbelievers and shut-ins.
Tent Sale Team Leader: Possition Open
Purpose of Ministry: Point of contact,
outlet for surplus, fund-raiser for church, opportunity to minister to
people, outreach service to the community.
Scout's Liaison Team Leader: Wes Bristol
Purpose of Ministry: To provide
communications between church and Boy Scout troops that meet here.

Grief Recovery Support Team Leader:
Possition Open
Purpose of Ministry: To provide emotional
and spiritual support to people who have lost loved ones.
H.E.L.P. Team Leaders: Wanda & JIm Stowe, Jim Aue & Donna Jackson;
Purpose of Ministry: Helping Each of the
Lord's People. Helping anyone and everyone in any area of need;

Bereavement Team Leader: Wes Bristol
Purpose of Ministry: To help with the loss
of a loved one and show support and love and let them know we care and
are here for them.
Counseling Team Leaders: Wes and Donna

Purpose of Ministry: To be able to assist
any and all who are experiencing problems of a spiritual nature. Being
able to teach others how to seek the answers from the scriptures, to
provide alternatives to abortion, give post-abortion counseling, and
teach alternatives for High School students such as abstinence.
Sunshine Lady Team Leader: Wanda and Jim Stowe and Cory Moorhead
Purpose of Ministry: To send cards to those
who are hurting or who have asked for prayer to lift them up.

Visitation Team Leaders:
Purpose of Ministry: To visit, call, and
transport to doctor appointments during illness, bereavement to hurting
people.
Convalescent Ministry Team Leaders:

Purpose of Ministry: To bring salvation,
faith, hope, and love to the elderly in the rest homes and convalescent
hospitals.
Parish Nurses Team Leaders:Sherrie Wheaton & Mary Doughty
Purpose of Ministry: The mission of the
Health Ministry of Magalia Community Church is to promote the spiritual,
emotional, and physical health of the congregation and the community as
exemplified in the life of Jesus Christ. This ministry will develop new
programs as needs are identified as well as assist individuals to access
existing services. This will be accomplished in part, through connection
with the larger health network, including the Parish Nurse Program of
the Feather River Hospital.
Care & Share Team Leader: Carol Stephens
Purpose of Ministry: To help the needy and
oppressed, especially in our church family, let them know we are here
for them and will help them, also by being here for them we can help
them help themselves.
Nifty-Fifties
Plus Team Leader: Position Open
Purpose of Ministry:
To fellowship among married and single seniors and to outreach
to the community.
Women's Ministries Team Leader: Donna

Purpose of Ministry: To provide fellowship,
spiritual growth, activities for women in the church.

Study Ministries
Home
Bible Studies
Magalia Community Church, offers a large variety of home Bible studies and
fellowships to meet the needs of it's members and the community. These
ministries are our points of growth.
Bible Studies Team Leaders: Position Open
Purpose of Ministry: To organize and support
Bible Study classes, to train Bible Study Leaders, and to provide small
group fellowship.
